Nicole Downey
CTO, Aerscape
Nicole Downey has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years. Nicole owned a technical consulting company that specialized in understanding and modeling air emissions from oil and gas sources. She focuses on large scale monitoring planning, data management and analysis - with a goal to deliver operators actionable insights to manage emissions. At Aerscape, Nicole leads the technical team developing the AERSHED platform.
Nicole received her Ph.D. In Environmental Science and Engineering from The California Institute of Technology and was an Environmental Fellow at Harvard University.
Matthew Todd
CEO, Aerscape
Matthew Todd has worked in the oil and natural gas industry for over 20 years with a focus on air emissions associated with industry operations.
Prior to launching Aerscape in 2023, he was the Director of The Environmental Partnership, a voluntary industry program whose mission is the continuous improvement of the industry's environmental performance. During his tenure, participation in The Partnership grew from 23 to over 100 energy companies since its launch in 2017.
Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Purdue University.
